Board of Directors

A Qatari national, born in 1981, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hammadi is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has obtained his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is the Director General of the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority. Mr. Al-Hammadi has held various high-ranking positions, he was previously the Chief Investment Officer for Europe, Russia and Türkiye at the Qatar Investment Authority managing the European portfolio across various sectors. Mr. Al-Hammadi has a diverse background and extensive experience in business and finance. He also sits on the boards of Heathrow Airport, SoFi, Borsa Istanbul and Dream International. On a local level, he plays a role as the Chairman of UDC, and Vice-Chairman of QEWC, board member of Masraf Al Rayan and Qatar Industries. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2019.

A Qatari national, born in 1985, Mr. Al-Rabban holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Greenwich, UK, and a Master’s Degree in International Business & Management from the University of Westminster, UK. Mr. Al-Rabban currently serves as the Director of Qatar Investment Authority’s Local Portfolio Department. He is also a board member and the Managing Director of Qatar National Cement. Previously, Mr. Al-Rabban held several executive roles and boards membership in various organizations.

A Qatari national, born in 1959, Mr. Al Fardan holds a BA in political science from Portland State University. Mr. Al Fardan is currently the Vice Chairman of Al-Fardan Group, Partner and Vice Chairman of the International School of Choueifat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Danat Qatar Company, CEO of Al-Fardan Jewelry Corporation, CEO of Ghada Jewelry Company, CEO of Al Manara Trading Company and board member of the United Development Company and a board member of Qatar Insurance Group.

Mr. Al Marri, a Qatari national born in 1979, holds a BSc in Accounting from Qatar University and an MSc in Financial & Accounting from Southampton University, UK. Since 2016, he has chaired the Financial Affairs Authority at Qatar’s Ministry of Defense. He has held key government roles, including CFO of Marafeq Qatar, Director of Business Development at the Ministry of Economy, and Finance Director at the Qatar National Food Security Program. He has also served as Vice Chairman of Qatar Steel International and a Board Member of Qatar Mining. Currently, he is a Board Member of Masraf Al Rayan Bank, UDC, and Vodafone Qatar.

A Qatari national, born in 1964, Mr. Al Othman holds a BSc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California and an a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut. Mr. Al Othman has over 26 years of experience in the oil and energy industry in a number of leading national and international companies. Currently, he holds several top-level positions including the President & Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the United Development Company, and member of the Board of Directors of Qatari Diar. In the past he held several executive positions and boards membership in various sectors.

A Qatari national, born in 1999, Sheikh Khalid bin Faisal Al Thani holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Northwestern University Qatar. Sheikh Khalid has served as a Board Member of Al Faisal Holding since 2020 and was appointed as CEO of its Contracting & Construction Cluster in 2022. Sheikh Khalid is also a Board Member of Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company (“ARTIC”), the hospitality arm of Al Faisal Holding. He also sits on the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Museum.

A Qatari national, born in 1993, Mr. Al-Mohannadi graduated in 2016 from Georgetown School of Foreign Service in Qatar. Mr. Al-Mohannadi currently works in the infrastructure investments department of the Qatar Investment Authority.

A Qatari national, born in 1992, Ms. Fikree is a Hedge Funds, Equities & Credit Funds Director at the Qatar Investment Authority. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, the Tepper School of Business, Ms. Fikree began her career in the financial industry at Barclays plc and joined the Qatar Investment Authority in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. In addition to her role at the Qatar Investment Authority, Ms. Fikree serves as Chair and Director of Q West Holding LLC and Qure Holding LLC, and as a Director of F3 Holding LLC.

A Qatari national, born in 1981, Mr. Al-Ansari holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Qatar university, a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an executive MBA from HEC Paris. Mr. Al-Ansari is a prominent legal expert and lawyer with over 20 years of experience. He is a partner at Al Ansari & Associates, a leading law firm in Qatar, where he leads the international arbitration practice. His expertise includes corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, finance, real estate and construction. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Al-Ansari holds several positions, including Vice Chairman of the Qatar Sports Arbitration Foundation and membership in the Asian Football Confederation's Appeals Committee under FIFA. He is also a founding member of the Qatar Players Association, where he continues to play a leading role in advancing players' rights and sports governance.
