Qatar Cool wins the \u201cDistrict Cooling Utility Provided of the Year Award\u201d <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Qatar District Cooling Company also known as Qatar Cool, a major district cooling company in the region, was announced the winner of the \u2018District Cooling Provider of the Year Award \u2019 during the Climate Control awards 2014, held at the Al Murooj Rotana Dubai, UAE, on the 19th<\/sup> November. \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Qatar Cool received the award for its district cooling service, Energy efficiency, reliability and overall commitment to the nation and their customers.\u00a0 Qatar Cool owns and operates three plants two in the West Bay district, and one in the Pearl Qatar, where Qatar Cool operates the \u2019The Integrated District Cooling Plant\u2019 (IDCP), which is the largest district cooling plant in the world. \u00a0<\/p>

Qatar Cool earlier this year was awarded the prestigious award from the International District Energy Association (IDEA) for the \u2018Best District Cooling System of the Year\u2019 for the Pearl Qatar District, and was also awarded the \u2018Best District Cooling System of the Year\u2019 in 2012 for the West Bay District from IDEA.<\/p>

The theme of the award ceremony was \u2018Responding to the nascent economic upturn… vision, preparedness and fortitude as enablers of a measured approach and of integrity in upholding best practices in the face of an anticipated rise in pace of demand\u2019.<\/p>

Mohannad Khader, Vice President Commercial, and Nahar Al Mutawah, Vice President Operation and Services were there to accept the award on behalf of Qatar Cool.\u00a0 Mohannad commented \u201cQatar Cool is committed to further developing the understanding of the District Cooling industry and being recognized by such a prestigious award adds further credibility to our commitment. Through delivering quality service combined with innovative ideas and initiatives we hope to not only improve District Cooling knowledge that will benefit industrial growth, but more importantly enhance the implementation of sustainable products, services and solutions for the environment as well as for end-users.\u201d<\/p>

\u00a0Mohannad continued \u201cQatar Cool expressed delight at this most recent accomplishment, to win another significant award from the Climate Control and to be recognized amongst our industry peers for the second time is a great tribute to the dedication of the Qatar Cool team. We recently signed a contract for the construction of fourth plant in Qatar, which is the third in the West Bay area and winning a prestigious industry award such as this only adds more momentum to our expansion plans.\u201d<\/p>

Qatar Cool has won multiple international awards, including the District Energy Space Award and the Best District Cooling System in the World award for 2012 from the International District Energy Association (IDEA). Most recently it was also recognized by Kahramaa\u2019s \u2018Tarsheed\u2019, a national campaign to improve water and energy efficiency, for its energy conservation efforts in industrial buildings in Qatar.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
