With a rich operational history, we proudly hold the distinction of being Qatar’s first and largest district cooling provider, a testament to our continuous evolution and adaptation to emerging trends, technologies, and market demands.
As we embark on expanding our footprint into new markets across the Middle East and Far East Asia, our primary objective remains centered on collaborating with local stakeholders to deliver tailor-made cooling solutions that effectively address the unique challenges and prospects present in each market. Our recent milestone achievement with the launch of Diarona District Energy Limited, a joint venture, underscores our commitment to global expansion. This strategic collaboration has already gained significant traction in Saudi Arabia, with several district cooling projects currently underway. Moreover, our ongoing discussions with developers and governmental entities in Far East Asia have shown promising prospects for future growth, reflecting our excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead in the region. Through strategic endeavours, we remain steadfast in our commitment to extending our reach, fostering sustainable development, and enhancing the quality of life in communities worldwide.
Aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030, Qatar Cool is deeply committed to playing a pivotal role in realizing the nation’s sustainability objectives. Our relentless focus on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and innovation directly contributes to Qatar’s vision for a diversified and sustainable economy. Over the past 14 years, our cooling plants have yielded remarkable energy savings, amounting to over 3.7 billion kilowatt-hours (KWH), equivalent to powering over 14 thousand villas in Qatar for an entire year. This substantial energy conservation has resulted in a reduction of over 2.1 billion kilograms of CO2 emissions, further reinforcing our commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation in the region.
